Mission & Goal
As a student of Environmental Science, my aim in life is to work for climate justice and sustainable development by bridging science, policy, and community action. I want to use scientific research not only to understand environmental problems but also to design practical, inclusive solutions that protect ecosystems and vulnerable communities. I aspire to specialize in climate change adaptation and resilience, particularly in regions that are highly climate-vulnerable, like Bangladesh. My goal is to work on issues such as river ecology, biodiversity loss, pollution control, and the social impacts of climate change. I want to contribute to policies and projects that ensure environmental sustainability while promoting social equity and gender inclusion. In the long term, I hope to collaborate with international and national organizations such as UNEP and UN Women to integrate environmental science with human rights and gender justice. I aim to become a researcher and advocate who empowers local communities, especially youth and women, to participate in environmental decision-making.
Biography
I am an Environmental Science student and climate justice advocate. A 2024 fellow with BRAC and a 2025 fellow with International Centre for Climate Change and Development, I also serve as a Coordinator at YouthNet for Climate Justice, working to advance inclusive climate action, community resilience, and youth-led environmental advocacy in Bangladesh.
