Prof. Parthankar Choudhury একজন বিশিষ্ট পরিবেশবিদ, যিনি দীর্ঘদিন ধরে Northeast India-তে nature conservation এবং environmental awareness বৃদ্ধিতে অসামান্য অবদান রেখে চলেছেন। বর্তমানে তিনি Assam University, Silchar-এর E.P. Odum School of Environmental Sciences–এর Dean হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করছেন।

His distinguished academic career spans over three decades, during which he has:
Supervised 20 Ph.D. and 2 M.Phil. scholars
Authored 6 academic books.
Published over 120 research papers in reputed journals.
Written around 80 popular science articles (Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, English).
Delivered 250+ invited lectures at national and international events.
Worked with several global environmental organisations.
His contributions have played a significant role in advancing ecological research and environmental policy discussions in the region.
